Annual Dawn Chorus Walk at Longueville House - Sunday 15th May 2016

This year our annual dawn chorus walk takes place on the magnificent 500 acre estate of Longueville House Mallow on Sunday 15th May, starting at 4am, under the expert guidance of Ornithologist Paul Connaughton.

Paul loves nothing more than to share his knowledge with others and encourage new bird lovers and nature enthusiasts into the amazing world of wildlife! After the walk participants enjoy a delicious country house breakfast in Longueville.

Take a pair of binoculars with you and join our guided tour with Paul on the magnificent grounds of Longueville House.

Birds heard & some seen in past events being: Blackbird, Song Thrush, Robin, Wren, Willow Warbler, Blackcap, Chifchaff, Rook, Hooded Crow, Swallow, Chafinch, Magpie, Blue Tit, Coal Tit, Great Tit, Jackdaw, Raven, Dunock, Starling, Jay, Meadow Pipit, Greenfinch, Goldfinch & Bullfinch.
