Carlow Floral Festival Trail

Saturday 30th July to Sunday 7th August 2011

Altamont Gardens

From bulbs to borders and woodland to wildlife, Carlow's Floral Festival Trail is a great opportunity for budding and experienced gardeners and nature lovers to obtain practical advice and tips from some of Ireland's most respected gardening and nature personalities.

Now in its 9th year, the festival is widely recongised as the South East's premier gardening event. Whether you are about to tackle your first ever gardening project or looking to hone your gardening skills, the festival is full of informative lectures and easy to follow workshops designed to suit your needs.

Visitors to the festival also have the opportunity to visit the Carlow Garden Trail, a collection of 16 different gardening attractions including great old gardens that have been lovingly restored and smaller gardens maturing beautifully with time.

Award-winning garden centres and forest parks also feature on the trail.
