Dublin Writer's Festival

Thursday 11th - Sunday 15th June 2008

This year’s programme sees over thirty of the best-known Irish and International poets and fiction writers read from and discuss their work over four event-packed days.

An initiative of Dublin City Council, with the support of the Arts Council of Ireland / An Chomhairle Ealaion, the Dublin Writers Festival aims to reflect both the city's famous literary heritage and the importance of the literary arts in a rapidly changing contemporary environment.

To this end, the festival presents the best of both Irish and international writing and looks forward in 2008 to another popular and critically successful programme.
