Kinsale International Gourmet Festival

This is the oldest food festival in Ireland and was born out of an end of season party for staff and local suppliers. The picturesque sailing and fishing town just 16 miles south of Cork is known as the Gourmet Capital of Ireland with the heaviest concentration of restaurants in the country, ranging from seafood to steak houses and everything in between laid on by a myriad of local suppliers from oysters to spiced beef.
