The character of Irelands medieval capital provides the perfect setting for experiencing the true wonders of gourmet.
It is a celebration of food from the local producer to the table, a gastronomic weekend.

Discovery Park Producers Fete
A completely new event where the local producers will have ready-to-eat food. This is the place for lunch on the go, a playground for the kids, herb growing workshops & fishing events - all in a beautiful setting.

Food Tours
Join us on one or both of our food trips around the county. Visit the producers, sample their wares, take traditional afternoon tea and relax as you are bussed from place to place.

International Tabbouleh Competition
This year’s event is going to be even bigger and better than last year’s. Can you make an authentic tabbouleh? This competition is open to all comers.

Tasting Workshops
Once again the Ormonde Hotel will host these highly instructive workshops on the variety and flavours of some of our complex foods.

Family Fun Picnic
Join the Conker Festival in Freshford for the mighty Picnic on the Green. Bring all the family and something to share…five loaves and two small fishes perhaps?

Taste of the City Street Market
Once again Kieran Street will hum to the sounds of bubbling hot chocolate and sizzling sausages…the aromas will be good too!

Celebrity Chefs Cooking Demonstrations
We know who they will be but we are keeping them under wraps for the present. Just take it from us …they are going to be exciting!

Kids Cooking Classes
The kitchens at Loreto School will be the venue for this year's children’s cooking classes. All aspiring chefs take note…this is the place to be.
