Seachtain na Gaeilge - Co Clare

Thursday 3rd - Thursday 17th March 2011

Music, drama, art, workshops, conversation groups, and on-street entertainment to promote the use of Irish throughout the county.

Seachtain na Gaeilge is a fortnight of events pertaining to Irish language and culture, organised nationally each year. Clár an Chláir 2011 is organised by Fóram Gaeilge an Chláir, is the programme of events for County Clare which encompasses workshops, concerts, visits from authors and poets and céilithe - all of which encourage the connections between language and culture, and most importantly to encourage the general public to use whatever Irish they have.
