Hereunder are full details of this 3 day walking weekend being run in association with “KNOCKMEALDOWN ACTIVE”

Over-night Bag: On Friday 16th at 7:30pm over-night bags will be picked up from Eldon’s Bar and taken to Lismore House Hotel.

Parking: Facilities available for parking at Kilmaneen Farmhouse B&B, with bus to start of walk at Ardfinnan.

Start: Meeting at Parochial Hall (beside Church), Main Street, Ardfinnan at 9:30am Saturday 17th.

Day 1: Ardfinnan to Lismore with talk at “Lady’s Abbey” and visit to Heritage Centre, Lismore.

Day 2: Lismore to Aglish incorporating “Farmer’s Market” in Lismore and talk at Cathedral before departing. Bus back to Lismore and traditional session after dinner in local pub.

Day 3: Aglish to Ardmore, bus leaving hotel at 9:30am. Collection in Ardmore at 6:00 back to “The Hermitage”, Clogheen for dinner at 7:30 (not included in price). Home via Ardfinnan and Kilmaneen Farmhouse.

Dinner: Saturday and Sunday, dinner at 7:30pm in Lismore House Hotel.

Day Walkers: This event is also open to those who wish to join the walk for one day, or two but they must organise their own transport to start and at finish of walk on each day. (No charge – donation to Knockmealdown Active if desired).
