Claremorris, Co. Mayo

 Claremorris (Irish: Clár Clainne Mhuiris) is a town in County Mayo that is surrounded by countryside that is composed of rolling drumlins, eskers, woods and lakes. There is a forest walk nearby.

The town has good sporting facilities, including an equitation centre, a swimming-pool and golf (9 hole). There is an art gallery in the town. Claremorris hosts the annual George Moore extravaganza.
