Dan Paddy Andy Festival - Co Kerry

 Friday 3rd - Monday 6th August 2012

The Dan Paddy Andy Festival celebrates the last of the great Irish matchmakers, Dan Paddy Andy O’Sullivan (1899 – 1966). The festival is staged in a totally rural setting at Lyreacrompane in the Stacks Mountains of Co. Kerry.

The entertainment goes on for 4 days over the August Bank Holiday Weekend with open air platform and marquee dancing attracting large crowds.

Lyreacrompane is synonymous with John B Keane so stories and drama also feature over the weekend. The Dan Paddy Andy Trail offers a guided walk and then there’s the dog show and entertainment for children.
