Waterford Harvest Food Festival

Monday 10th - Sunday 16th September 2012

This annual festival is a celebration of Waterford's rich culinary heritage and its important role in food production in Ireland. Jointly hosted by Waterford City Council and Slow Food Ireland, this autumnal festival is a wonderful opportunity for locals and visitors alike to enjoy giant food markets, cookery demonstrations by celebrity chefs, taste workshops, free outdoor gigs and street parties, open-air picnics, barbeques and feasts, with opportunities to sample local culinary delights, along with plenty of free fun activities for all the family.

The majority of festival events are free to attend and take place during the day in open spaces around Waterford City, including the South Quay, John Roberts Square and in The People's Park. Suitable for families, and food lovers of all ages!
