Fenit Seabreeze Festival - Co Kerry

Saturday 9th - Sunday 10th June 2012

Fenit, a small maritime village on Tralee Bay overlooking Mount Brandon & Sliabh Mish, is the birthplace of St. Brendan.

A combination of local heritage & maritime activities creates this community & family fun weekend featuring novel activities like zorbing & hamster runs, bouncy castles, a fabulous fireworks display, local enterprise food court & BBQ, live music & disco, daytime entertainment for children and families such as face painting, balloons, puppet show, and the Fanzini Brothers. The Charity “Bee for Battens” raise funds with their Bungee event.

The village is pedestrianised to ensure a relaxed safe environment for families & small children.

Other activities included a sailing regatta, eco-walks, the Round Ireland powerboat race, St. Brendan museum display & community groups’ expo.
