Lough Derg Chocolates
Lough Derg Chocolates is another of the good news stories to have come out of the recession - as Malachy and Elaine Dorris will be happy to tell you if you meet them out at events, they may have lost their old jobs, but now they have their own successful business near Lough Derg.
Although only going since 2011, Lough Derg Chocolates hit the ground running and their developing range of smartly packaged handmade confectionery is reaching a growing chocolate-hungry market.
Luscious traditional truffles with fresh cream fillings, cute chocolate lollies and milk chocolate bars are all part of their tempting range. They are members of the Tipperary Food Producers group and use as many local ingredients as possible.
