Modern European cooking works well with some Thai and Indian influences here, and simple preparation and good seasonal ingredients dictate menus. Smoked & fresh salmon terrine, Mediterranean tapas selection and beef & Guinness are regulars, also vegetarian dishes such as goat’s cheese & tarragon tart.

There are classic desserts like lemon tart or apple flan, also delicious bakes like cinnamon scones and Moroccan orange cake and a range of stylish sandwiches. Very nice friendly and helpful staff, too.

Seats 36 (outdoors, 12). Open Mon-Sat 9 am-4.30 pm & D Thur/Fri 6-9pm. A la carte; sc discretionary. Children welcome; toilets wheelchair accessible; air conditioning. MasterCard, Visa, Switch. abbreviations
