Celtic Ross Hotel, Conference and Leisure Centre

This modern hotel is close to the sea, overlooking Rosscarbery Bay (although not on the sea side of the road), and well placed as a base for touring west Cork; the facilities in the leisure centre offer alternative activities for family holidays if the weather should disappoint.

It's an attractive building with spacious public areas, and the bedrooms - many of which have sea views - have all the usual facilities.

However, although currently in the hands of a proactive management team who aim to raise and maintain standards, shortage of accommodation in the area means that this hotel is always busy, and a fair degree of wear and tear is to be expected.

Conference/banqueting (300/230); business centre; free broadband wi/fi. Rooms 66 (1 suite, 15 family, 1 shower only, 2 for disabled, all no smoking); B&B from €55 to €75 pps, ss €20. Children welcome (under 4s free in parents' room, cots available free of charge, baby sitting arranged, kids club). No pets. Wheelchair access. Lift. Self-catering available with use of hotel leisure facilities. Leisure centre (swimming pool, jacuzzi, steam room, sauna, massage, treatments). Short breaks brochure available. Closed mid Jan - mid Feb. Amex, MasterCard, Visa, Laser.
