Chorus Café
A small restaurant with a big heart, this bright and friendly little place is near the site of the first performance of Handel's Messiah, hence the name - and some features of the decor. Interesting breakfasts (Danish pastries, home-made scones and bagels with imaginative fillings, for example, as well as the 'full Irish'), are followed by an all-day procession of good things.
Gourmet ciabatta and panini, and old favourites like tuna melts, jostle for space alongside wonderful salads: a useful daytime place to know about if you're visiting anywhere in the Christchurch area.
Seats 24. Open Mon-Fri, 7.30am-4.30pm, Sat 10-4.30. Closed Sun, Christmas, New Year. No Credit Cards.
Directions:
Opposite Dublin Corporation Offices, at Christchurch end of Fishamble Street
