Clayton Hotel

Convenient to both Galway city centre and Galway Airport, this four star hotel is well located for business and leisure guests and, with Galway Race Course and Rosshill Golf Course very close by (and a good choice of other golf courses within a short distance), it is an especially attractive destination for sports lovers.

An impressive entrance sets the tone for bright, spacious and well-appointed public areas which include the aptly-named Enclosure Bar and Tribes Restaurant, and – while all bedrooms have features such as underfloor heating, pillow-topped mattresses and plasma screens as standard - business guests in particular will be well looked after in the fourth floor executive accommodation, which includes a private executive lounge and a presidential suite with great views, a sheltered terrace and large sitting room with entertainment systems.

Conference and business facilities include a very large ballroom/conference venue with natural daylight, which is designed for versatility; meeting rooms equipped for boardroom meetings, presentations and video conferencing have everything required including high definition plasma screens, wireless broadband, and audio-visual equipment.

Conference/banqueting 800/450 (9 board rooms, 12 meeting rooms); business centre, video conferencing, free broadband wi/fi. Rooms 195. (14 executive, 22 family, 9 disabled, 170 no smoking); Room rate from about €99. Children welcome (under 10s free in parents room, cots available free of charge). 20m swimming pool; fitness room, steam room, sauna. MasterCard, Visa, Laser. abbreviations
