What a gem this ancient place is. Established in1642, it’s a wonderful pub with two old bars and an interesting informal restaurant, genuinely olde-worlde with an amazing original fireplace and chimney discovered during renovations.

Accommodation is offered in six simply furnished rooms which most guests will see as charmingly updated, and there’s a first floor room, with some remarkable original features, suitable for meetings or private parties.

Good food and genuinely friendly service too. Go and see it - there can’t be another place in Ireland quite like it.
