At this little piece of France in the main street of a County Cork town, Noelle and Rodolphe Semeria’s hospitality is matched only by their food, which specialises in Breton dishes, especially crèpes - both savoury (made with buckwheat flour) and sweet (with wheat flour).
They run a special pancake evening once a month or so, on a Saturday night. But they do all sorts of other things too, like the salads that you only seem to get in France, soup of the day served with 1/4 baguette & butter, a plat du jour and lovely French pastries.
Opening times are a little complicated, but it’s worth taking the trouble to work them out as it’s a lovely spot - and even the bill is a pleasant surprise.
This is a place that deserves to be better known.
