Mac Ruaidhri's

On the square at the top of this hilly little country town you'll find the pleasant neighbourhood restaurant, MacRuaidhri's, which is run by local man Manus Rodgers and head chef Marcus Wren.

Expect a warm welcome, friendly service and good value: a concise, keenly priced table d'hôte dinner menu offers a balanced choice including seafood and favourites like braised shank of lamb and pan-seared 10 oz steak (meats are 100% Irish and Quality Assured), and is very fairly priced.

A more expensive, but still reasonably priced, à la carte menu offers a wide range of choice, and there's a short, but adequate, wine list.
