McCambridges of Galway

The name is now synonymous with bread (their extended family's little loaves of pre-sliced brown soda bread are widely distributed), but there is much more than bread to this family owned deli and fine foods shop on Galway's main street.

Established in 1925 and now run by siblings Eoin, Natalie and Norma, who take pride in continuing the family tradition, it's first port of call for many food lovers visiting Galway. You'll find an ever-changing range of carefully selected food and wines from Ireland and abroad, including artisan jams, preserves, chutneys, Irish cheeses, speciality meats, ice creams - and, especially, irresistible Irish and continental chocolates including the gorgeous Skelligs from the Ring of Kerry.

The first floor now operates veru successfully as a restaurant.

Customised gift hampers are a speciality; browse the website and call, or email to order.
