Melody's Nire View Bar

This hospitable, well-run pub in the upper reaches of the Nire Valley has recently been taken over by Martin Johnson - and it's a great place to take a break if you're walking or simply touring the area.

Recent renovations and extensions have made the pub brighter and more comfortable without losing its atmosphere, and the stable yard has now been set up nicely with outdoor seating.

But the most important features - genuine hospitality and real open fires - remain unchanged.

Live music on Tuesdays & Fridays. Maps are available for a number of walks taking from 11/2-4 hours. Barfood 10.30-9. Closed 25 Dec & Good Fri. abbreviations
