Morgan Hotel

In deepest Temple Bar, this unusual boutique hotel is characterised by clean simple lines and uncluttered elegance. Bedrooms have 6' beds in light beech, with classic white cotton bed linen and natural throws, while standard bedroom facilities include satellite TV and video, CD/hi-fi system, mini-bar, safe, voicemail and Internet access.

Bathrooms in the better rooms are spacious and spare in style, although some less desirable rooms are shower only; some rooms also have a sound-proofing problem and it would be wise to ensure that your room is not over the bar.

Staff are very helpful and there are nice touches about the hotel, such as having an umbrella available on loan for the duration of your stay. An excellent buffet breakfast offers lots of fresh fruit as well as yoghurts, muesli, good croissants and other breads, cheeses, charcuterie, good coffee and the usual full fry at €18 per person.

The stylish Morgan Bar is open all day and offers an oasis of comfort and relaxation amongst the hustle and bustle of Temple Bar - try an exotic Morgan Mai Tai, perhaps?

Casual dining is available in the Morgan Bar, where an excellent (and extensive) tapas menu is served all day (12.30pm until 9.30pm).
