Quaglinos at The Century

Well known restaurateurs Pat and Eileen Kerley run The Century Bar, which is a listed building on a corner site opposite St Patrick’s Cathedral, and Quaglino’s restaurant.

It’s a romantic building dating back to 1902, with an ornamental turret on the corner, above the front door - and it has retained many features of historical interest, including the original bar counter and hand-carved bar backdrop.

The restaurant is above the bar and here Pat Kerley - a committed Euro-Toques chef - takes great pride in the active promotion of Irish food and uses as much local produce as possible, including oysters, lobster and lamb.

As in most Louth restaurants, generosity remains the keynote and providing good service with good value is a priority.

Quaglino’s has always had a strong following and loyal customers (plus many new ones) like this reliable restaurant very much, so reservations are essential.

The early dinner menu offers outstanding value, and the wine list is carefully selected to match the food.
