Just off the main square in Dungarvan town, Quealy’s is a friendly buzzy place with simple, good quality table settings in the smart bar, and food that is well above the usual expectation of “bar food” in terms of sourcing, cooking and presentation.
They offer a modern menu of good dishes at very reasonable prices, many of them available either as starters or as main courses, and there is always a good traditional “specials of the day” menu on blackboards - mixed seafood platter, perhaps, or St Tola goat’s cheese salad with pine nuts & piquillo peppers.
Well turned out staff are efficient, ensuring relaxed ambience even at busy times.
