This smart designer bar brings some welcome style to Blackrock village with its cool walnut woodwork, cube seats, cream leather banquettes and artwork for sale on exhibition - all of which, plus a big screen upstairs, have made it the in place for the trendy young crowd.

Informal menus are offered through the day - brunch, daytime and evening bistro - and there's a patio area for al fresco dining in fine weather; however, perhaps it's more a place to drop into for a drink in stylish surroundings.

Seats 100; toilets wheelchair accessible. Open 12am-12pm; food served all day 12-9pm, L11-3, D 4-9. Closed 25 Dec & Good Fri. Amex, MasterCard, Visa, Laser.
