Set in fine rolling countryside in its own farmland and grounds, Breda Thomas’s lovely 18th century house overlooking the River Nore is blessed with an utterly restful location
Rooms 5 (all en-suite, 3 executive, 2 family). B&B from about €50pps, no ss. Children welcome (cot available). Pets permitted by arrangement. Garden visits nearby. Self-catering accommodation also offered at Ballyduff Castle, adjoining Ballyduff House (2-4 bedrooms). Open all year. No Credit Cards. abbreviations

Breda is a relaxed host who enjoys sharing her home with guests, and offers exceptionally spacious and comfortable accommodation in large period bedrooms with generous bathrooms and beautiful views over the river or gardens.


Guests also have the use of large well-proportioned day rooms furnished with family antiques - and many return often, finding this rural retreat a warm and welcoming home from home.


Beautiful walks on the estate. Fishing (salmon, trout). Riding, hunting and other country pursuits can be arranged. Garden visits nearby.
