Lost & Found

Set in the heart of Coleraine’s pedestrianised area, this delightful child-friendly café may specialise in ethically-sourced coffees but it also serves great brunches and lunches - and a lot more than the advertised pizza on Friday nights
Seats 40 on each floor. Open Mon-Sat 9.30am–5pm. Brunch 9.30am–3.30pm. L 11.30am-3.30pm. Fri Pizza Night 6pm-9.30pm. Available to hire any evening except Fri. WiFi. Visa, Mastercard, Amex abbreviations

Close to the sculpture of the bronze footballer in the heart of Coleraine's main shopping area, this delightful two-storey daytime café and restaurant sees itself as a 'place of community' and is renowned for simple and delicious food.

Established by two coffee-mad couples, Dave & Emily Lynas and Dan & Kathleen Henderson in 2014, It’s bright and attractive with picture windows overlooking the pedestrianised streets outside.

A popular choice with both locals and visitors, this little gem is also dubbed Brew Bar & Café - it specialises in ethically sourced coffees and the highly trained barista team 'weigh, time and temperature control all of the espresso, filter & milk' to ensure that every cup served is as delicious as it can be. And, while great coffee is the main draw, other drinks are of equal quality and include speciality teas.

When it comes to food, Lost & Found offers a good selection of tasty dishes for breakfast, brunch and lunch. Breakfast might be simple Ursa Minor sourdough with homemade jam, or homemade granola with natural Clandeboye yoghurt and Irish honey, while brunch offerings include Broughgammon sausage, cheddar cheese, rocket, relish, and a soft egg on brioche. For lunch there might be choices like Thai green vegetable soup with coriander flatbread, or an open Mexican chicken sandwich with agave and lime slaw and coriander mayo - and a wholesome kids' lunch (cheese toastie served with a banana and kid's smoothie) is just £3.

Come Friday night and it's all change. Officially it's pizza night, and there is indeed a mouthwatering range of gourmet pizzas to choose from, but there's much more - homemade pasta dishes for a start and some delicious sides, but also some seriously tempting starters and desserts. And among the starters you'll even find a coffee brined beef short rib. Where else...

Great food, great staff and excellent value.
