Westport Plaza Hotel

Adjoining its larger sister property the Castlecourt Hotel, in the centre of Westport, this is a smart, contemporary hotel, with spacious stylishly furnished public areas, iimpressive accommodation and good food.
Conferences/Banqueting (150/120); business centre; free broadband wi/fi. Leisure centre (pool, fitness room, jacuzzi, steam room); beauty salon, hair dressing. Equestrian, golf, fishing and garden visits nearby. Rooms 87 (1 suite, 2 junior suites, 5 shower only, 9 family, 5 wheelchair friendly. Lift. B&B from about €60pps, ss applies. Lift; all day room service. Children welcome (under 3s free in parents' room, cots available free of charge, babysitting arranged, creche, playroom, kiddies pool). Covey's Gastrobar, seats 120. B'fast, L & D daily; reservations accepted. Plaza Bar: food from 12.30pm. Children's menus. Wine from €25.50. Leisure Centre. Parking. Open all year. Major cards. abbreviations

Adjoining its larger sister property the Castlecourt Hotel, in the centre of Westport, this is a smart, contemporary hotel, with spacious stylishly furnished public areas, including a comfortable bar, and impressive accommodation.


Some rooms have balconies overlooking a rooftop garden and, with king size beds, marbled bathrooms with Jacuzzi, air conditioning, plasma screen TV with interactive services, minibar and safe all included as standard, this is a desirable place to stay.


Guests have use of the C Club leisure facilities next door, in addition to ‘Spa Sula’ with 12 treatment rooms.


The Plaza has always had a reputation for good food and casual dining is offered in the Plaza Bar, which serves an interesting and well-priced menu, including gourmet burgers, barbecued steaks and stone baked pizza. Alternatively, the New York Italian inspired Coveys Gastrobar has replaced the fine dining destination Restaurant Merlot.


Afternoon Tea is also available by reservation, and it it is served next door at the Castlecourt Hotel.
