Clifden Station House Hotel

Built on the site of the old railway station and convenient to the town, this large modern hotel is known for its friendly and helpful staff
Conferences/Banqueting (250/170); meeting rooms, free broadband wifi. Rooms 78 (2 junior suites, 59 executive, 17 family, 3 disabled). B&B €80 pps (€60 low season), ss €30. Lift. No SC. Leisure centre ('pool, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, fitness room), Spa (massage, treatments), beauty salon, hairdressing. Children welcome (under 3s free in parents' room; cots available without charge; kids club, playroom; baby sitting arranged). No pets. Short breaks. Closed 25 Dec. abbreviations

Built on the site of the old railway station and convenient to the town, this large modern hotel is known for its friendly and helpful staff and suits those who require a leisure centre and conference/banqueting facilities (200/150).


There is free Wifi in public areas, which are impressively spacious and modern. The old Station House has become a themed bar and restaurant, and the complex includes a railway museum and a range of upmarket shops and boutiques.


Bedrooms are a good size, contemporary in style and comfortably furnished with wired internet and interactive TV as well as all the usual amenities such as direct-dial phones, tea/coffee making and ironing facilities/trouser press.


Attractive short, special interest (golf etc) and off-season breaks are offered, and there are 18  two- and three-bedroom self-catering suites in the courtyard (parking; use of all hotel facilities; open all year).
