Blarney Castle Hotel

This attractive family-run hotel overlooks the village green in the centre of Blarney, beside the castle. It has been in the Forrest family since 1837 but, with the exception of the restaurant, reception area and a very characterful old bar, they completely rebuilt the hotel a few years ago.

The new accommodation includes spacious, bright bedrooms with excellent views and all have a double and single bed, wide screen TV, tea/coffee-making; and well-finished bathrooms. Helpful, friendly staff create a welcoming atmosphere and prices are reasonable.

The adjacent Lemon Tree Restaurant may not carry through the anticipated Mediterranean theme, but offers meals that are above the standard expected in hotel dining rooms and staff are very hospitable.

Short breaks available all year. Golfing breaks offered; numerous golf courses nearby, transport etc arranged for guests.
