Bodéga
Outdoor tables with overhead canopies alongside the entire front of this old warehouse building make for an inviting entrance. Inside, a large open space with high ceilings and old mirrors resembles a large Amsterdam brown-café, with people of all ages sitting down.
There is a laid-back, relaxed atmosphere without any pressures to order or finish one's meal. Food is not ambitious, but is made well: the lunch menu may offer soup and sandwiches, a lamb casserole or a vegetarian pasta dish.
Dinner may range from quesadillas to steaks (and a choice of simple desserts) whilst Sunday welcomes a relaxed brunch menu. There is also a healthy option and children's menu.
Friendly staff, moderate prices and a relaxing atmosphere make Bodéga a prime place for everyone to chill out.
