A little gem in the heart of Kinsale, you’ll find Ursula Roncken’s appealing all-day café behind a very attractive powder blue frontage with white lettering.
Bright and attractive with a picture window onto Market Street, it’s an altogether kind of place with polished wood/blue & white tiled floor, modern paintings on cream painted walls and wooden-topped tables with attractive wooden seats - better still, it’s friendly and welcoming, and serves great tasting food.
Menus offer a very nice selection of dishes for both breakfast (eggs Benedict; roasted Portobello mushrooms on toasted muffin with herbed scrambled eggs and roast tomato; sourdough, wholemeal or fruit toast, with preserves and butter) and lunch (crab & avocado salad; smoked chicken Caesar salad; blueberry cheesecake), and the quality and flavour of all dishes is excellent.
Great service too – friendly, knowledgeable and relaxed.
