Fitzroys Restaurant

This large modern restaurant beside the Foyle Shopping Centre is on two floors and very handy for shoppers, visitors or pre- and post-theatre meals.

Refurbishment has revamped the interior, but the central philosophy of providing good quality, reasonably priced food in enjoyably informal surroundings - and with quick service from the very friendly staff - remains unchanged.

Menus change through the day and offer a wide range of food in the current international fashion, ranging from soup of the day (a very good chowder, perhaps, full of a variety of smoked and unsmoked fish and shell fish, attractively presented with home made wheaten bread) and designer sandwiches (roast vegetables & goats cheese baguette), to house favourites like spicy chicken tagliatelle, or a 10 oz sirloin steak.

The wine list includes a useful flavour key, indicating style.
