Glencarne House

On the border between Leitrim and Roscommon - Glencarne House is physically in Leitrim, but the postal address is Roscommon - the Harrington family's large Georgian house is set well back from the road, with a large garden in front and farmland behind, so it is easy to find, yet without intrusion from traffic.

Spacious and elegantly furnished with antiques, this is very much a family home and Agnes Harrington has won many awards for hospitality and home-cooked food based on their own farm produce.

Good-sized bedrooms all have en-suite bathrooms, and a fine breakfast, cooked to order, will set you up for the day.
