The most spectacular pint of Guinness in Dublin - indeed, in all Ireland - awaits you in Gravity, the modern glass-walled bar providing panoramic views of the city from its unique position atop the impressive Guinness Storehouse, a handsome 1904 building.
The Storehouse is commodious - with 170,000 square feet of floor space, it is one of the choicest pieces of real estate in Dublin. The space is imaginatively used to house the Guinness Museum, the story - told with fascinating high tech exhibits - of the famous company's 250-plus years in business.
It also includes (on Level 5) the traditional Brewery Bar, serving nourishing Irish fare (seafood chowder, beef & Guinness stew) and the contemporary-style Source Bar.
Opened in the autumn of 2000, the Guinness Storehouse has long since welcomed its millionth visitor: it has so much to offer that some folk spend an entire day there.
The Storehouse is open daily, 9.30-5. Entrance fees apply (€15 adult). Bureau de Change. Free parking & broadband wi/fi. Brewery Bar Seats 120. Food served 12-3.45pm daily. Closed 24-26 Dec, Good Fri. Amex, MasterCard, Visa, Laser.
