This pleasant self-service restaurant is in the garden centre at the Arboretum and offers an attractive selection of wholesome, freshly-prepared food.
Tables are simply set up, but every second table has fresh flowers; in addition to a blackboard menu, a self-service counter presents an appetising display of salads and quick-serve dishes - everything is fresh and home-made with good ingredients, and there's a nice flair in the desserts (banoffi pie is a house speciality).
Not really a wine place, but there's wine by the glass from the fridge, and a few quarter bottles, also fruit drinks (including apple juice) and minerals.
A good place to break a journey, as there's a pleasant ambience and a browse around is relaxing.
