In an attractive stone-fronted building in Slane village Georges Patisserie is owned by Georg Heise who is renowned for his baking and wedding cake creations.


The patisserie/café has a small amount of seating and offers a tempting daytime selection of freshly baked breads, cakes, buns and speciality pastries alongside a range of tasty open sandwiches, homemade soups and a wide selection of tea and coffee, alongside a deli section selling fresh fruit and veg and an array of specialist food products, all Fairtrade or organic if possible.



Seats 12; children welcome (high chair); unisex toilet is wheelchair accessible. Open Tue-Sat, 11-4.30pm. Closed Sun, Mon, 25-26 Dec. MasterCard, Visa, Laser.

Directions:

Heading north through the village on N2 Dublin-Derry road, it’s just past the crossroads, on the right.
