Although the entrance is small from the street, first-time visitors to this appealing Indian restaurant may be surprised to find a spacious L-shaped first floor dining area and enough room for a comfortable reception area at the top of the stairs.
Menus are wide-ranging, offering a varied selection of Indian and Bangladeshi dishes; the familiar ones are all there - onion bahjee, chicken tikka or pakora, biryani dishes and perhaps a dozen tandoori specialities.
Uncluttered contemporary decor and well-spaced tables with comfortable high-back chairs make a pleasing setting for interesting, authentic and well-cooked food - and attentive service from friendly and helpful staff adds to the enjoyment.
