1 euro Denotes genuine Irish food culture, ie special Irish food products/companies/producers, and highlights the best places to shop for regional and artisan foods; the selection excludes obvious 'non-Irish' elements regardless of quality, eg ethnic restaurants and specialists in coffee, wine and other drinks, unless relevant to local production or history. Eat & Stay establishments are chosen for their commitment to showcasing local produce and Irish hospitality.

As well as offering a carefully selected (and ever growing) range of deli fare, the food freshly cooked on site is delicious.

You can see the chefs at work in the kitchen at the back, and a changing selection through the day begins with breakfasts that include lovely options such as fruits with yoghurt and so on then, from late morning the lunch menu offers really good home made soups, custom made sandwiches in a variety of good breads, salads, hot dishes like quiches and spinach & filo pastry layer, plus one or two specials.

Baking is a speciality - beautiful home baked desserts and tarts - and tray bakes with tea and their exclusive Café Mokarabia (Italy’s favourite coffee) on the afternoon menu. It’s a small place, so you may have to wait for a table at peak times, but you are not hurried or hassled once you get served.
