This family-owned hotel was built in the mid '90s on the site of a 19th century convent, to a design that retains the older features including a church.
Existing Gothic themes have been successfully blended into the new throughout the hotel, creating a striking modern building which has relevance to its surroundings in the heart of a medieval town, and succeeds in providing the comfort and convenience demanded by today's travellers, at a reasonable price.
'Preachers' pub offers a bar menu (10.30-9.30 daily, Carvery Lunch 12.15-2.30pm, Barfood Menu 2.30-9.30pm) and traditional music every weekend - and the shops and many famous music pubs of Ennis town centre are just a short walk across a cobble-stone courtyard.
Conference/banqueting (200), board rooms (2), business centre, secretarial services, video conferencing, broadband wi/fi (no charge). 24hr room service.
Rooms 70 (2 junior suites, 39 no smoking, 3 family rooms, 11 ground floor). Lift. B&B €75 pps, ss €30.
