Margaret Whooley runs one of the most relaxed bars in the country: known affectionately as "the tin pub" because of its corrugated iron roof, it has a lovely rambling country garden going down to the water at the back, where children are very welcome to burn off excess energy.
Other than succumbing to the telephone a year or two ago after years of resistance, it's a place that just doesn't change.
Normal pub hours don't apply in this part of the world, but they're open from 1pm in summer, closed Oct-May.
