Old Buildings - Modern Contemporary Interiors

There have been many high profile openings of refurbished old buildings in recent years as hotels and country house hotels where fashion has demanded cool, contemporary interiors. This being more to some guests taste than others.

Do you believe that fashion has got it right with these interiors or would you prefer to see old buildings refurbished in the classical style that had been intended for them?

I like cool and contemporary, this is definitely the way to go
I'd rather stay in classical surroundings, let us see the interior as it was intended to be
