The accommodation arm of the excellent 360 Cookhouse restaurant and bar, nearby on Castle street (see entry), 360 Stay offers a spacious and very comfortable 'self service' base in Dungarvan town centre for groups of various sizes, all year round.

The 360 Apartments and Studios are well situated just off the square in Dungarvan (with the entrance conveniently located in one of the town’s largest carparks) and other options nearby include a one-bedroom house, and a three-bedroom house that would be ideal for families .

Although access may be a bit daunting for first-time visitors - there is no lift, so a lot of steps to reach the upper storeys, and everything is handled remotely so there is no host and you are unlikely to meet, or even speak to, anyone during your stay - the accommodation is spacious, well laid out and comfortable once you get settled, and the owners have gone to a lot of  trouble to create a homely ambience.

All of the essentials, including bed linen for the comfy bed(s), are supplied and there's everything you could think of on the safety front - including a smoke alarm, carbon monoxide alarm, first aid kits, fire extinguishers, and a security camera at the entrance. It may be an idea to have a torch handy however, as some parts of the starirway are better lit than others.

Bedrooms and bathrooms are simple and comfortably functional (well equipped and everything working); no baths but a good electric shower, quality towels, eco-soap (Italian),- and ther's a washer-dryer and ironing station included too.

Living areas have everything that's needed for leisure and business stays (sofa and armchair(s), desk/ work station, coffee table, free Wi-Fi, and smart TV (with Saorview & Netflix) and a good dining area. There's also a well equipped mini-kitchen with everything you need (fridge-freezer, microwave, oven, coffee machine, kettle, crockery, cutlery, cooking utensils) although eating out will be a more attractive option for most short-stay visitors and you'll be encouraged to try 360 Cookhouse (which is dog friendly) first, as there's a 10% discount on dinner there for each checked-in guest.

All round this makes an appealing base for getting stuck into the variety of things that Dungarvan Town and the beautiful West Waterford area have to offer. There's the hugely popular West Waterford Greenway, of course, the World Heritage Copper Coast and its beaches, the lovely Comeragh mountains for scenic drives and walking, Lismore Castle & Gardens, Ardmore village - and many activities including golf, watersports, and  the area's many food festivals - and so much more. Chances are you'll book in here for a couple of days and keep coming back to do the area justice...
