Just east of Cork city, near the Jack Lynch Tunnel and set in landscaped gardens, this hotel has appeal for both leisure and business guests

Children welcome (under 17s free in parents room, cot available free of charge, baby sitting arranged). Lift. Room service (limited hours). Bar food available from 9.30am. Situated just east of Cork city, adjacent to an industrial estate, the location of this Cork hotels not attractive but it is near the Jack Lynch Tunnel, which gives easy access to the airport, and it is set in landscaped gardens.


It follows the familiar Radisson practice of adding a well-designed modern build to an old property, with stylish contemporary interiors including spacious public areas.


Designed to appeal to both leisure and business guests, the large Banks Bar is equally suitable for a relaxing drink and casual food, or for business meetings, and The Island Grillroom offers a more intimate dining area.


Accommodation is to the expected high standard, offering very comfortable rooms, and in addition to all the other usual facilities, WiFi internet access is complimentary throughout the hotel.


'The Retreat' leisure facilities include a Spa, with nine treatment rooms and a relaxation suite, and a Fitness Centre with hydrotherapy pool and state of the art gymnasium.
