Opened by chef Stephen Higginson and his wife Cristina in 2006, the Square Bistro has been Lisburn’s most consistently popular restaurant for over a decade.


It’s a warm, friendly and atmospheric venue, with a loyal clientèle who keep coming back for the terrific service given by well-trained staff as much as the excellent, carefully sourced, food - and great value. (Who wouldn’t want to pop in for a delicious weekday lunch at £16 for two?)


‘It’s all about the food’ is their mantra and that’s all down to the ingredients they use from great producers like Walter Ewing seafood, Peter Hannan meats, Abernethy butter, Fred Murphy potatoes, Draynes Farm dairy, and Cavanagh Eggs - and their superb steaks from Peter Hannan are a particular speciality
