Just beside the beautiful new Foyle Bridge and less than three miles from city centre, this is a glamorous younger sister to the city’s popular Da Vinci Hotel. Located in the Waterside area (on the east bank of the River Foyle), it’s only a short drive into the city and convenient to many visitor attractions, golf (packages offered) and wonderful scenery in both Co Derry and nearby Donegal.

Of the stylish public areas, The Winebar is perhaps the most attractive - designed two levels with an open kitchen to entertain and inform guests awaiting their orders, smart white leather seating and booths, and an impressive circular centrepiece bar. There is also a relaxing ‘snug’ bar with a more intimate atmosphere.

Accommodation (which includes an unusually high proportion of twin rooms) is in a smart contemporary style without being OTT, the dominant colours are purple and gold but the effect is more restrained than this implies. In-room facilities are good, as would be expected, to include flat screen TV, WiFi, safe and trouser press with iron as well as the usual phone, tea/coffee making and hairdryer.

With spacious conference and banqueting facilities offering a separate entrance, the Waterfoot is popular wedding destination - and its convenient just-out-of-town location and ample parking appeals to the business community.

Golfers considering a visit to the area will be interested to know that the Waterfoot Hotel has teamed up with the City Of Derry Golf Club & The Foyle Golf Club to offer attractive golfing packages.
