As a one time late shift worker who used to enjoy a pint when knocking off work at 5am I can appreciate the service that 'early house' pubs offer (pubs that open early in the morning). Why shouldn't people be able to get a pint in certain bars at any time of day or night as in Australia or London?
Surely the issue at the centre of the binge drinking issue isn't one of the amount of hours that pubs are open but more about issues within our culture that need to be addressed through education?
Should there be 'Early Houses' in Ireland?
