Lady Well Fete at Slane Castle - Co Meath

The Lady Well Fete is held in August each year in the grounds of Slane castle. Visitors travel from far and wide to visit the holy well in the castle grounds. The day features a variety of fun events and activities for all the family. This year events include a recreation of the first ever Gaelic football match in 1712, drama, tug o’war, Irish dancing, dog trials, tours of Slane castle, side shows, sports day, bouncy castles, a variety of fine food stalls, and a dancing Chinese dragon.
