Taking place over the June Bank holiday weekend, The Flat Lake Festival is a must for those wanting to kick off the summer with a bang. The Flat Lake Literary & Arts Festival is a sumptuous weekend of creativity set in the glorious Hilton Park Estate in County Monaghan.

It offers just about everything - including film screenings, theatrical debuts, literary and historical talks, heated debates, sculptural exhibitions, poetry recitals, eccentric discourse, children’s entertainment, sticks of rock, campfire camaraderie and some delicious food and drink that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg!
