Crossgar Foodservice

Food Market

Denotes genuine Irish food culture, ie special Irish food products/companies/producers, and highlights the best places to shop for regional and artisan foods; the selection excludes obvious 'non-Irish' elements regardless of quality, eg ethnic restaurants and specialists in coffee, wine and other drinks, unless relevant to local production or history. Eat & Stay establishments are chosen for their commitment to showcasing local produce and Irish hospitality.

Crossgar Foodservice

Wholesale suppliers well worth knowing about, and used by top chefs including Niall McKenna of James Street South.

As well as offering plenty of 'ordinary' products in their vast range (over 10,000 products) there are gems, especially in the 'Crossgar Provenance Collection', which includes dry aged Dexter and Irish Moiled cattle in its beef range, and local Lissara Farm free range duck among the poultry - one of a tiny number of recent Great Taste Awards entries to achieve 3 gold stars.

Look out for the 'Crossgar Provenance Collection' on menus, as it will mean that you can be sure of being in the good hands of a caring chef who sources the best ingredients.
